SCARPA: it's impossible to imagine our feet without it

The name Scarpa may not immediately suggest the origin of the brand. But if you know, this is just the acronym for Società Calzaturieri Asolani Riuniti Pedemontana Anonima; you'll get closer. The name symbolizes the association of several shoemakers made from the Asolo region in northern Italy, founded by businessman Rupert Guinnes in 1938. The brand is also boosting the circular economy in the ski touring sector. With a re-made limited edition of the Maestrale, the company is launching a ski touring boot made from production leftovers that save 27% of CO2 emissions compared to traditional styles.
