Description

The Swift 48 Eco Dry 8.9 climbing rope from Edelrid is a further development of the already excellent Swift Dry: a high-quality climbing rope that can be used as a single, half or twin rope, one of the thinner single ropes on the market.

Because Edelrid manufactures the Swift 48 Eco Dry on a special braiding machine with 48 bobbins, the rope has an extremely fine sheath structure for superb handling with minimal weight.

It is also permanently water and dirt repellent thanks to the Pro Dry finish. The Thermo Shield treatment gives the rope a great finish. This makes the Swift perfect for ambitious climbers who want to use their rope both alone and as a twin or half rope. Thanks to the 3D Lapcoiling technology, you can simply take the rope on and off the packaging and use it - no more unwinding necessary.

However, it is less suitable for long indoor sessions, toprope climbing or the material-intensive bouldering of a crux.
