<p>The Mammut Alugator Light avalanche shovel is characterised by an extremely lightweight construction without sacrificing all the essential features.</p><p>Thanks to the telescopic handle, the absolutely stable aluminium construction can be quickly moved from packing size to working size and has room in most touring backpacks when pushed together. The recesses in the shovel blade with sharpened edge and tread pattern reduce the weight on the one hand, offer the possibility to build a rescue sledge or snow anchor at the same time and are set in such a way that they do not impair the shovel result and the stability.</p><p>In addition, the Alugator Light with its oval handle cross-section and ergonomic T-handle is absolutely secure in the hand.</p>
