<p>The Petzl IRVIS&reg; HYBRID crampons are an excellent choice for anyone who values minimal weight and high safety when ski touring and ascending glaciated terrain. With a front section made of robust steel for good grip on ice and a heel section made of aluminium for weight savings, they offer an excellent balance of performance and lightness. The flexible CORD-TEC system allows for a very small pack size, meaning the crampons take up hardly any space in your rucksack &ndash; ideal for ski touring ascents or quick alpine adventures.</p> <p>Thanks to the clever arrangement of the ten points, the IRVIS&reg; HYBRID offers a reliable grip on hard snow and firn. Wide front points ensure good load-bearing capacity, while the ANTISNOW system prevents snow from clumping. Thanks to the LEVERLOCK UNIVERSAL binding system, the crampons are compatible with all mountaineering boots with a rear sole edge and can be adjusted in length without tools. The full modularity of the ALPEN ADAPT system also allows the front or rear parts, as well as the CORD-TEC connection and binding systems, to be exchanged for maximum versatility.</p> <p>However, it is important to note that IRVIS&reg; HYBRID is not suitable for use on rock, as the aluminium parts would wear out quickly. Bare ice can also put a lot of strain on the CORD-TEC connection, which is why they are not the right choice for extremely steep ice or ice climbing. Their area of application is clearly light ski tours, classic glacier ascents, and alpine adventures where weight savings and pack size are crucial.</p>
