<p data-start="358" data-end="730">The Summit Verto FA mountain boots from The North Face were developed in close collaboration with the in-house alpine climbing team - with the aim of offering maximum functionality and precision for high alpine terrain. The result is a technical boot system that can be adapted to any season and delivers reliable performance even in the toughest conditions.</p> <p data-start="732" data-end="1164">The upper is made from high-strength Dyneema&reg; ripstop fabric with a water-repellent construction and waterproof zipper for reliable protection against moisture and abrasion. A reinforced toe cap made from double-layer rubber and a circumferential heel rand increase robustness in rocky terrain. The BOA&reg; system ensures a perfect fit, which can be precisely adjusted even when wearing gloves - a real advantage in ice and snow.</p> <p data-start="1166" data-end="1599">Two interchangeable DOTKNIT&trade; liners enable optimum temperature regulation: a lightweight liner for warmer conditions, an insulated liner with a wide opening for cold conditions. The removable sock liners offer additional customization options for fit and comfort. An internal bootie with adjustable strap at the ankle provides additional stability without restricting movement.</p> <p data-start="1601" data-end="1976">The flat sole platform brings the foot closer to the rock - ideal for climbing precision. The combination of PU midsole, full-length carbon plate and Vibram&reg; Mont rubber outsole offers a secure, torsionally stiff ride with excellent grip. For use with crampons, the shoes are fully compatible with Pebax&reg; clips on the heel and toe.</p>
