It has a nice compact cut which, together with the carrying system, ensures excellent load transfer and control - whether it's a steep ascent or a dynamic descent.</p> <p>Of course, you can attach your skis (diagonally and sideways) as well as a snowboard or splitboard on the outside. Snowshoes, ice tools and poles can also be stored on the outside, and there is even a helmet holder included. Inside, on the other hand, you have a compartment for your avalanche equipment and you can stow your goggles in the compartment at the top.</p> <p>The closed-cell foam on the back of the Ranua 28 backpack ensures that no snow gets trapped there, while keeping the load close to the body and providing excellent control.
