<p>The Alpine Club maps are made from a high level of accuracy. They usually have a scale of 1:25,000 and the terrain is depicted in great detail. The rock depiction in particular is legendary. A coordinated division with overlapping map sheets places the emphasis on high mountain regions. The labeling with map names and altitude information is often more lavish than in comparable maps. The map content is checked by the cartographers themselves in the field.&nbsp;<br></p>
