Description

Durable Kerlon 1800 fabric, 10mm tent poles and the freestanding design of Hilleberg's Staika tent ensure that it is qualified to handle situations in which stability is of utmost importance yet the terrain makes using guy lines difficult. The Staika is easy to set up and built to handle large snow loads, making it great for use both above and below treeline - no matter what the weather. Thanks to its dual entrances and vestibules, as well as its stability, it is also a great choice for a base camp tent that can be left unsupervised.

Hilleberg originally designed this tent for sea kayakers to provide them with a shelter that can handle less-than-ideal camp situations without breaking a sweat. Since then, many other outdoor enthusiasts, from mountaineers, to polar explorers, have come to appreciate the Staika's amenities as well. Though robust and roomy, the tent still manages to remain remarkably light.

freestanding dome construction with integrated vestibules

innovative hybrid system with short tent pole sleeves, hooks, and linked inner and outer tent for quick and simple set up

tent can be set up without stakes, but still features 16 well-placed guy line attachment points and stake loops for adverse weather conditions

roomy interior thanks to dome shape and steep walls

two entrances and vestibules for variable entrance and storage configurations, located on both sides of the tent

weather-independant ventilation system with breathable water-repelling fabric, adjustable vents integrated into the entrances, mosquito netting in the entrances, covered vents, and circulation- accommodating design

<p class=""details"">Capacity: 2-person | Weight: 3,3/3,7kg (min/max) | Vestibule Area: 2 x 0,9qm | Tent Poles: DAC Aluminium, 10mm diameter | Fly Material: Kerlon 1800 - 40 Denier High Tenacity Ripstop Nylon w/double-sided 3-layer silicone coating, waterproof up to 30kPa (ISO-811) | Inner Tent Material: 40 Denier High Tenacity Ripstop Nylon, DWR (durable water repellent) treatment | Floor Material: 100 Denier High Tech Tenacity Nylon, coated with triple-layer polyurethane, waterproof up to 70 kPa (ISO-811) | Exterior Dimentions: 300 x 240 x 115cm (L/W/H) | Interior Dimensions: 230 x 140 x 110cm (L/W/H)

Includes: Replacement segment, repair kit, 22 stakes
