Developed for maximum performance over plenty of hours, it combines powerful propulsion with exceptional cushioning and secure support - ideal for trail runners with ambitious goals.</p> <p>The heart of the Mafate X is the newly designed midsole construction: a reactive PEBA core layer in combination with a cushioning EVA carrier ensures a smooth running experience with noticeable energy return. A split carbon plate provides additional stability and propulsion - especially on long, demanding climbs or quick downhills.</p> <p>The harmoniously tuned MetaRocker promotes a natural rolling motion, while the Active Foot Frame in the heel area ensures a stable, deeply embedded stance. The result is a secure fit and a dynamic but controlled running sensation - even on longer distances.</p> <p>The ultra-light, woven upper material with patented Dynamic Vamp construction adapts flexibly to the foot and supports freedom of movement in the forefoot area.
