Description

NNormal has already made a great impression with its predecessor, and the successor goes one better. This makes the Tomir 2 a trail running shoe that really gets the job done, that you can put many kilometers into and that easily holds its own on demanding trails.

The Tomir 2.0 focuses on performance, durability and robust all-round capabilities. The idea: A shoe that can do everything on the trail and in the mountains. The implementation: Absolutely successful! No wonder, because Kilian Jornet, probably the most excellent trail and mountain runner of all time, is behind the brand.

For the best possible grip even in the most difficult conditions, the shoe continues to rely on Vibram® Megagrip rubber, which sits on the Vibram® Litebase outsole. Great: If the outsole is worn down, it can be resoled. 5 mm long studs bite into the ground. The thickness of the outsole has been reduced by 50%, which helps to give the Tomir its light weight.

In the 2.0 version, the Tomir now also uses the EExpure midsole, which is also used in the Kjerag. It has a really nice bounce and sits in close contact with the foot, which gives the shoe a lot of directness and reduces friction. Thanks to the improved rocker shape, the toes have more room in height and the midsole is pulled a little further up for more stability. The upper, like the other components, is made to last. It is noticeable that the upper is stitched to the sole so that no glue can come loose.

Even the lacing follows the principle of functionality and comfort. Its asymmetrical design prevents pressure points and chafing and gives you an excellent fit in the Tomir. The tongue has also been adapted and now reaches further around to avoid pressure points and to wrap the shoe evenly around your foot.
