Description

The Tecnica Zero G Peak Carbon Touring Ski Boots show an outstanding ratio of lightweight to downhill performance. This makes the model a hot candidate if you're looking for an ascent-oriented boot with plenty of manoeuvrability, but it also brings directness and precise power transmission for demanding backcountry skiing.

The two-buckle achieves its top values with absolute hi-end materials and convincing construction details. The lightweight yet stiff material of the shaft and shell contains carbon and is called Power Frame Construction. In ascent mode, you have 75° shaft rotation at your disposal - the best conditions for fast skinning, effective strides and unrestricted movement in hairpin turns. If you switch to the downhill mode, the shoe gives you full support with a template of 13 °.

The Zero G Peak Carbon is also lightweight thanks to its design with material savings in the flex zone, where it gets by with a flexible gaiter and lightweight components such as the aluminium buckles or the locking mechanism reduced to the essentials.

The thermoformable inner boot already has an anatomical shape and fits in many cases after a short break-in period. In addition, a breathable membrane provides good moisture management and a Recco® reflector makes it easier to find during a professional search mission.
