The lightweight yet durable outer material also offers professional insulation and functionality for activities such as alpine mountaineering, ski and glacier tours and ice climbing.&nbsp;</p><p>Designed according to the Salewa Body Mapping System, the insulation provides warmth to different body zones. The perfect cut for freedom of movement prevents the hem of the Ortles Hyb Rds Down Jacket from riding up when climbing.</p><p>It can be worn alone as a warm outer jacket and otherwise as an insulating mid-layer under a hardshell jacket. In addition, it can be packed small and space-saving in a backpack.&nbsp;</p>
